Nice work, just done the same mistake on my own car with not fully tightening the crank bolt. Bent all 8 exhaust valves. Even though i have done loads of n14 chains on customers minis.

Whenever you're looking at paired signals like CAN bus, use invert on one channel, then add the 2 channels together, signals should be very clean. Pretty much any scope should have the add and invert functions, but it may be limited to channels 1 and 2 only. They use a differential driver with the paired signals to pretty much eliminate any noise whether it be from the power and ground at the source, or radiated to the wires from some other source. If you invert the negative signal then you can decode the 1's and 0's (if you really want to do that sort of thing).

I've been using Gumout injection cleaner in the tank with theh PEA in it, and it's been doing a great job keeping the injectors clean, also I've used CRC's intake valve cleaner a few times cleaning the intake valves on GDI engines, and that makes a big difference if you haven't cleaned the valves.
